Renaissance Pubs to open sixth site in Clapham
Renaissance Pubs, the independent gastro pub operator, will open its sixth site on Balham hill in Clapham, London next month.
The Avalon will comprise a 90-cover main bar and a 70-cover dining room, with two al fresco spaces for a further 110 diners.
A further 120-cover rear garden area will open during spring 2009, bringing the total capacity to 370 diners.
The interior of the 4,000sq ft Avalon, formerly called The George, has been designed by Tom Peake and Concorde BGW.
Renaissance Pubs is a joint venture of Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox.
