Spa management company Resense Spa S.A. recently brought together 40 of their leading spa managers, corporate and regional colleagues to participate in their 2015 bi-annual Global Spa Managers Forum.

The forum, which took place at the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea, Jordan, was a three-day event that included a number of strategic workshops and seminars.

In addition, the annual Resense Spa Awards were given out in categories including the “Highest Employee Satisfaction Survey” and “Resense Spa Recognition Award for Outstanding Commitment.”

“The team activities and events were designed to empower the managers and directors, enhancing their leadership skills to better care for our future guests and deliver tangible business outcomes,” said Resense CEO Kasha Shillington.

Forum sessions, activities & workshops included strategic planning, leadership development, emotional intelligence, connecting with guests, matrix management, P&L analysis and marketing strategy.

The 2015 Resense Spa Awards were awarded as follows:

• Highest Employee Satisfaction Survey - Kempinski The Spa at Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, Gozo, Malta

• Highest Customer Satisfaction Survey - Kempinski The Spa at Kempinski Hotel Aqaba, Red Sea, Jordan

• Most Improved Revenue - Kempinski The Spa at Kempinski Hotel Chongqing, China

• Most Improved Financial Performance - Kempinski The Spa at Palais Hansen Kempinski, Vienna

• Highest Retail as a % of Revenue - Kempinski The Spa at Kempinski Grand Hotel Gelendzhik, Black Sea

• Resense Spa Recognition Award for Outstanding Committment – Walid Elkhatib at Resense Spa Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski, Riyadh

• Resense Spa Recognition Award for Outstanding Committment – Melanie Richard at Le Spa by Resense Grand Hotel Kempinski, Geneva

• Resense Spa Recognition Award for Outstanding Committment – Seema Lodi at The Ishtar Spa by Resense Kempinski Hotel Ishtar, Dead Sea, Jordan

• CEO Award for Excellence – Supreeya Samrej at Kempinski The Spa Siam, Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.
