Reuben brothers ponder PBR deal

It is understood that AIM-listed Premium Bars and Restaurants (PBR) could be taken over by the Reuben brothers, who already hold a controlling stake in the business.
PBR, formerly Ultimate Leisure, operates more than 50 bars, restaurants and clubs in the UK, as well as two hotels – The Waterside on Newcastle’s quayside and The Rex in Whitley Bay.
The Reuben Brothers currently hold a stake of 32.50 per cent in PBR, which reported full-year pre-tax losses of £21.4m to the year 30 June 2008.
