Revamp for Haringey squash courts
Haringey Council has completed the revamp of the squash courts at Tottenham Green leisure centre in Seven Sisters.
The £17,000 redevelopment included work on all three of the centre’s courts, which reopened to the public earlier this month.
Tottenham Green leisure centre underwent a comprehensive £2.2m redevelopment of its facilities in 2006, as part of the council’s £5.2m investment in improving leisure facilities in the area.
Councillor Chiren Basu, cabinet member for leisure, said: “We are setting up squash leagues at Tottenham Green, so this refurbishment work will mean that the centre is a more attractive venue.”
