Revamp on the cards for Lake Superior Zoo
Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth, Minnesota, US, is developing a master plan for the future.
The Zoological Society - with funding from the State Legislature's Legacy Amendment Arts and Culture Heritage Fund - has commissioned Studio Hanson/Roberts, the zoological planning and design consultants to develop the plan.
One of the priorities of the plan will be a strategy to regain accreditation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and to improve facilities and exhibits.
The master plan will be unveiled in February 2010.
