The Rezidor Hotel Group's Radisson Blu Resort brand has further extended to Split, Croatia, with a new resort and spa.

Located on the Adriatic coast and boasting panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea, the existing Hotel Split underwent an extensive renovation before reopening as the Radisson Blu Resort Split. There is also an Anne Sémonin spa featuring eight treatment rooms, a whirlpool, a sauna and a range of steam baths.

Rezidor is also in the final stages of planning two resorts with spas for Tangier and Saidia in Morocco, although opening dates are yet to be confirmed. Elsewhere within the group, the Radisson Blu Resort and Spa Porticcio, the brand's first venture onto the French island of Corsica, will open in early 2012.
