Hospitality company, Rezidor SAS, has signed deals for the development of new Radisson SAS hotels in Athlone and Sligo.

An agreement with Earl’s Construction will see Radisson operating a 116-room hotel at Silverquay, adjacent to the marina in Athlone. Facilities will include a restaurant, bar, 500-person ballroom, meeting rooms and a large, fully equipped health and fitness centre with swimming pool.

The Radisson SAS hotel in Sligo, a development by Ballincar House Partnership, will offer 132 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, conference centre, 600-capacity ballroom and a state of the art spa and health club with 20 treatment rooms.

Athlone is in Ireland’s County Westmeath, midway between Dublin and Galway, whilst Sligo is north west Ireland’s largest town.
