Rezidor to launch in Mongolia
The Rezidor Hotel Group is to debut in Mongolia with the opening of the The Radisson Blu Hotel, Ulaanbaatar. The 175-room property is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2011, making Mongolia the 61st country in which Rezidor has a presence.
The hotel - owned by Mongolia-based Nomadic Journeys - is already under construction and situated in the city centre adjacent to the 100-year old Choijin Lama Temple; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Opera House; and the Museum of Natural History. In addition to the 175 guestrooms, the hotel will feature three restaurants, including a Paulaner micro brewery; a wellness centre; and 1,500sq m (16,145sq ft) of conference and meeting space.
