Rides from former Portopialand park up for sale
Italian ride manufacturer IE Park has been contracted to sell a range of park rides previously in operation at Portopialand amusement park in Japan.
The park closed in March this year.
The rides available, which have been dismantled and shipped to IE Park’s headquarters in Reggio Emilia in Italy, include a 63.5m high giant wheel, a double deck merry-go-round, a 36-seater Sorani Top Spin and a Mack Bobsled coaster.
IE Park’s sales director Andrea Munari said: “IE Park is very happy to be able to offer such a collection of highly rated, major park attractions. They have all been built by some of the most renowned and respected manufacturers in the industry and will make excellent additions to any park.” Details: www.iepark.com
