Ripley to enter London’s Trocadero
US-based Ripley Entertainment will open a Ripley’s Believe it Or Not! at the London Trocadero later this year.
The attraction will open in August 2008 and occupy a 25,000sq ft space over five floors.
Jim Pattison, president of Ripley Entertainment, said: “Opening a Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum in London has been one of our goals for many years.
“We're looking forward to providing visitors with some truly exciting and unusual memories and becoming one of London's most iconic attractions."
London Bridge Entertainment Partners (LBEP) will operate the attraction on a franchise deal.
LBEP is controlled by London Bridge Entertainment Group, an investment company set up to for acquiring, setting up and operating visitor attraction companies.
Ripley Entertainment currently operates more than 60 attractions, most of them in North America, which attract around 13 million visitors each year.
