Ripley's Aquarium opens new gallery
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies in Tennessee has opened its new gallery – the Killer Exhibit.
Featuring some of the most deadly creatures of the sea the exhibit includes interactive displays and a daily show called Lethal Weapons.
Steve File, general manager of Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, said: "The new exhibit gives our guests the opportunity to witness the deadly environment that exists in the sea.
"An exciting element to the presentation is a hands-on opportunity to help understand the constant struggle between the peaceful population of the sea and the lethal animals who share the same waters, for survival."
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies now houses more than 100,000 live exhibits an holds 1.4 million gallons of water.
