Riverside walkway reopens in Liverpool
A riverside walkway between Liverpool's Pier Head and Albert Dock has been reopened to the public three months ahead of schedule.
The 600m (1,969ft) path had been closed to allow landscaping work to be undertaken at the new Museum of Liverpool, but was brought back into permanent use on 29 April. It followed an agreement between National Museums Liverpool, Liverpool City Council and the Albert Dock Tenants Association ahead of the Spring on the Waterfront event.
A National Museums Liverpool spokesperson said: "We are delighted to re-open this walkway as it's an important route between Pier Head and Albert Dock."
