Rollout plans for Revolution
Inventive Leisure has announced it believes there are opportunities within the UK to roll out a further 40 to 60 sites under its Revolution vodka bar brand.
The group currently operates 43 licensed premises, with 38 trading as Revolution bars following the opening of a new bar in Parsonage Gardens in Manchester.
Two further sites due to have opened in Cardiff and Leeds have been delayed however, the result of issues the company said were “beyond our control”. They will now open in the summer.
In its results for the 26 weeks to 25 December, Inventive Leisure reported turnover up 11 per cent to £22.7m, operating profit up 10 per cent to £2.2m and pre-tax profit up 21 per cent to £1.8m.
In September the company completed the rollout of its Vodka Kitchen concept to all bars and has since seen a 50 per cent growth in food sales, to 5.2 per cent of overall sales.
It also supplemented its student campaign, I love Vodka, with a Privilege Card and ‘chequebook’ of offers this year.
