Rowallan Castle - a luxury Scottish hotel in the making
Rowallan Castle, in Ayshire, looks set to be the newest luxury hotel in Scotland.
RGA Hospitality Consultants in Edinburgh recently completed a due diligence study into the creation of a 65-room luxury hotel within the Rowallan Estate, with positive results.
The hotel is proposed to be operated by Gordon Campbell Gray of One Aldwych in London and Carlisle Bay in Antigua and will include a refurbishment alongside a substantial new build development.
The estate will host the first Colin Montgomerie-designed golf course in Scotland (currently under construction) alongside a range of outdoor activities, including horse riding, curling and rough shooting.
