Royal Ballet set for O2 Arena dates
The Royal Ballet has confirmed that it will be staging productions of Kenneth MacMillan's Romeo and Juliet at London's O2 Arena next summer.
Three dates - 17, 18 and 19 June 2011 - have been scheduled; the first time the Royal Opera House-based company has performed in a UK arena. Performances will feature a filmed introduction to each act on live-relay screens. The cast will include dancers such as Carlos Acosta, Tamara Rojo and Edward Watson.
