Rugby league exhibition opens at Queensland Museum
A travelling exhibition which celebrates 100 years of rugby league in Australia opens at the Queensland Museum South bank this month.
The ‘League of Legends’ exhibition, which demonstrates how the sport has changed over a century and explores the triumph and despair at the heart of sporting contests will run from 6 June – 10 August, after which it will move on to Townsville, Brisbane, Sydney and finish in Melbourne.
Treasures on display include the Courtney Goodwill Trophy, the State of Origin Shield and radio commentator Frank Hyde’s binoculars.
