SFI concern over FSA report
Pub and bar operator, SFI Group, has “acknowledged with concern” the conclusions of a Financial Services Authority (FSA) report into accounting discrepancies at the group.
SFI said it had informed the UK Listing Authority of the discrepancies as soon as it became aware of them and had co-operated with the FSA ever since.
The FSA will not be fining SFI, having found no evidence that the breaches were deliberate, but has decided to issue a public statement of censure.
SFI, which operates the Bar Med, Litten Tree and Slug & Lettuce brands, now considers the matter closed. Details: www.sfigroup.co.uk
