SIV gains Quest for all its facilities
Sheffield International Venues (SIV) has achieved Quest accreditation for all six of its facilities.
Ponds Forge International Sports Centre received the second highest score nationally, The English Institute of Sport got the highest ever first time score, iceSheffield got the highest mark for a standalone ice facility and Don Valley Stadium is now the highest registered stadium. Hillsborough Leisure Centre and Concord Sports Centre were also highly commended.
“This is a fantastic achievement by Sheffield International Venues and testament to the high standard of facilities and leisure services it has made available in Sheffield,” said Jan Wilson, leader of Sheffield City Council.
“The city has developed an exciting blend of community and elite use, with venues hosting major international events while also catering for thousands of local people wanting to stay fit and healthy.”
