SIV's Len Crossley retires
Len Crossley has announced that he will be leaving his role as trustee of the Sheffield City Trust and 11-year chair of leisure operator Sheffield International Venues (SIV).
Crossley, who is embarking on retirement, helped approve the health and fitness scheme Fitness Unlimited, which now has 14,500 members.
Joining the trust to replace Crossley will be legal firm DLA Piper's head of finance Mark Fenoughty who has nine years experience in the sports and leisure industry. Prior roles have included chief operating officer at Sheffield United FC and finance director for Leicester City Football Club.
SIV operates a large concentration of community and international sports venues on behalf of the charitable trust. Facilities include the Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Concord Sports Centre, the English Institute of Sport – Sheffield, Westfield Sports Centre, Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield Arena and Don Valley Stadium.
