SLL rewards academy golfers
Stevenage Leisure (SLL) recently held its first presentation evening for winners and players at Stevenage Golf Centre following the launch of Stevenage Golf Academy in May this year.
The academy operates a structured teaching programme designed to take junior golfers from absolute beginner through to established player.
A clearly defined pathway with designated levels ensures that every player can understand their current progress and future development. The coaching staff help them develop along this pathway regularly reviewing progress, and the ethos of the academy is to encourage junior golfers to adopt the habits of quality practice.
Ian Morton, managing director of SLL, said: “The Stevenage Golf Academy is a perfect opportunity for the budding Tiger Woods in our communities to benefit from great coaching and practice facilities. We look forward to it developing further in the future.”
