SOLL Leisure awarded IIP

Sports Trust SOLL Leisure has been awarded the Investors in People (IIP) accreditation.

The trust, which operates 13 leisure facilities on behalf of South Oxfordshire District Council. Vale of White Horse District Council, Thame Town Council and Didcot Town Council, was established six years ago and now boasts a turnover of £6m a year. Managing director Stuart Henshaw said: “This is a significant milestone for SOLL, it provides evidence of the passion and professionalism within the company and helps to validate the continuous improvement journey we are on.”

IIP assessor Richard Simpson said: “SOLL is genuinely an investor in people company, demonstrating that it is a positive, enthusiastic and committed group with excellent practices. SOLL is certainly committed to showing ongoing improvement.” Details: www.soll-leisure.co.uk
