Sanctuary Lodges to launch Botswana spa
The Africa-based Sanctuary Lodges & Camps group is preparing to open its latest spa, at Chobe Chilwero in Botswana, Africa, in June.
Called the Chobe Chilwero Spa, the facility will feature a tree house treatment room, elevated in the nearby treetops and overlooking the Chobe River.
Other spa features include an indoor treatment room, Vichy showers, mud baths, rest areas, a whirlpool and spa bath as well as a relaxation area. Spa treatments will use Africology and Thalgo products.
Kelly Carnabie of Essential Spa Solutions consulted on the spa, which will be one of the first spas on the Botswana safari circuit.
Although there are currently no further plans to extend its spa concept, Sanctuary Lodges has also recently rolled out dedicated safari health and beauty treatment areas at Chiefs Camp in Botswana, Sussi & Chuma and the Chichele Presidential Lodge, both in Zambia.
Sanctuary Lodges properties are operated on an environmentally sustainable basis and are in areas of outstanding natural beauty.
