Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain completes US$2m in renovations
The Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain has unveiled US$2m (€1.9m, £1.6m) in renovations to its spa Casitas and Spa Suites after a two-year capital investment.
With designs from Lynne Beyer in collaboration with architect R. Nicholas Loope, the 12 Spa Casitas surround the resort’s infinity pool and Sanctuary Spa, and have been refreshed with new indoor and outdoor furnishings, lighting and artwork a new Deco palette.
The 12 Spa Suites, also designed by Beyer and Loope, feature glass rock fireplaces and views of Paradise Valley. They have been upgraded inside and out as well, with new furnishings as well as teak decking and privacy screens around the oversized outdoor soaking tubs.
The renovation of the Spa Suites and Casitas comes on the heels of the opening of the resort’s Spa House – a 3,500sq ft (325sq m) private mountain home with its own treatment room and movement studio – in May 2016.
