Sandals Barbados to undergo multi-million dollar expansion, adding spa and wellness sanctuary
Sandals Resorts International is undergoing a multi-million dollar expansion of its Dover Beach property in Barbados, adding 222 rooms and suites to the 280-bedroom property, along with a new spa and wellness sanctuary.
Additional spa details are not yet available, but the expansion is set to be completed in November 2017 and will make the property the largest Sandals resort in the Eastern Caribbean.
Architect Graham Sant of Sant Associates, who has worked on Sandals projects for 20 years, is heading up the expansion.
The project will also include the addition of five new restaurants, three new swimming pools, an entertainment pavilion complete with a bowling alley, and a 10,500sq ft (975sq m) conference facility.
