We’re witnessing the onset of a new era of consciousness and wellbeing

Integrative wellness destination, Sangha Retreat by Octave Institute, in Suzhou, China, has responded to the Coronavirus pandemic by unveiling an immune-boosting programme to strengthen overall wellbeing and defence against disease.

The programme blends medical testing, spa treatments and nutrition, to identify how guests’ bodies are currently equipped to combat disease and provide targeted support to strengthen immunity and reach optimal health.

Participants will initially be evaluated during wellness and lifestyle consultations on the strength of their defence systems, both physically and mentally, through scientific testing – which ranges from assessing posture to checking metabolic function.

Following this, a range of daily prescribed therapeutic treatments, alongside a customised nutrition plan, will be selected for guests, in order to encourage guests to adopt healthier behaviours and promote balance in the body and achieve optimum health.

A variety of massages, use of infrared sauna and acupuncture treatments will also be used to complement the plan to relax and detoxify the body, allowing it to enter a rejuvenation phase.

Fred Tsao, founder of Sangha Retreat, said: “The purpose of the institute is to introduce a new cycle of living that achieves mind, body and spiritual wellness. We’re now witnessing the onset of a new era of consciousness and wellbeing.”

The immune-boosting programme is available over a three- or six-night period and, dependent on length, includes activities such as Traditional Chinese Medicine spa treatments, aromatherapy massages, Acupuncture, aquatic stretching sessions, PT sessions and Pilates.

Those enrolled in the programme will also have access to Sangha’s extensive hydrothermal spa circuit and the ‘Daily Living Habits Calendar’ which offers a choice of up to nine complimentary workshops and activities ranging from mindful stress reduction, sleep coaching and sound healing, to yoga and breathwork.

Sangha’s three-night programme starts from RMB19,100 (£2,195, US$2,689, €2,458) per person and the six-night experience has a starting price of RMB32,700 (£3,757, US$4,605, €4,209) per person.
