Science comes to the circus
The No Fit State Circus has teamed up with scientist Gareth Smith to produce the Sci-Circus, a new circus theatre designed to increase the public understanding of science.
The Sci-Circus, which will be touring Wales this summer, consists of juggling, acrobatics, aerial work and music that aims to look at how science is happening all around us in our day-to-day lives.
'The circus aims to bring the magic of science to people who perhaps wouldn't go to a science centre or museum,' said Gareth Smith, who has worked with Cardiff's Techniquest science centre for the last few years.
The Sci-Circus is one of the projects funded by National Science Year.
