The Scottish Mining Museum and Butterfly & Insect World in Edinburgh have teamed up to offer a joint corporate membership package.

The partnership aims to sign up companies to deals which would allow the employees of participating organisations free access to both attractions, as well as a range of discounts and benefits for the whole company.

Corporate membership holders can enjoy a year's entry to both attractions and discounted rates for meetings and conferences at the Mining Museum's stunning Powerhouse function room.

Members will also receive advance notice on special events and launches at each location, as well as discounted rates on a range of activities including Phobia Busting Workshops at Butterfly world.

Gillian Rankin, marketing officer at the Scottish Mining Museum said: "Due to the close proximity of the two attractions, it made sense for us to join together and offer corporate benefits for the range of high quality facilities we have on offer."

Located five minutes from the Scottish Mining Museum, Butterfly and Insect World allows visitors to wander through tropical gardens with hundreds of butterflies and see thousands of insects in their natural environment.
