Scottish tennis receives £330,000 cash boost
Tennis in Scotland is to receive a £334,188 investment from sportscotland.
The money is intended to develop the sport across the board, from increasing grassroots participation to supporting the development of elite players.
Louise Martin, chair of sportscotland, said: “At such an exciting time for Scottish tennis [Andy Murray has recently won back-to-back titles], there is no shortage of inspiration for aspiring tennis players.
“Our investment is designed to support Tennis Scotland’s development programmes to ensure that up and coming players are given the opportunity to participate in the sport and to develop to their full potential.”
