Sea Spa appoints new director
Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego, California, has appointed David Devan as its new spa director.
Devan, who brings with him 17 years of spa experience, will take over at the 10,000sq ft spa later this summer.
Devan joins Loews Coronado Sea Spa from Princess Cruises, but has also previously worked at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
Kathleen Cochran, the resort’s general manager, said: “David has a wealth of experience at creating world-class spas from the ground up with an eye for creating impeccable guest perception.”
The Sea Spa has 15 treatment rooms, a Watsu pool, pedicure and manicure stations, a juice bar and an exercise studio.
Resort facilities include 440 guest rooms, three tennis courts, three restaurants and three swimming pools. Details: loewshotels.com
