Sea World opens Sesame Street attraction
Sea World on Australia’s Gold Coast has opened the country’s first Sesame Street-based attraction.
The new multi-million dollar addition features a host of rides, shows and attractions, including the Bert and Ernie’s Big Drive, Oscar’s Sweep the Beach and Elmo’s Sea Safari.
John Menzies, chief executive officer for Warner Village Theme Parks, which owns Sea World, said: “ It was important for us to create an attraction using a brand that would fit with our philosophies, but would also appeal to our core visitor age group – pre-school children.”
