SeaWorld Orlando reveals waterfront plans
SeaWorld Orlando is planning to unveil its new waterfront expansion to the public in May.
The five-acre area will be styled as a Mediterranean port, SeaWorld's marketing vice president, Jim Atchinson told the Orlando Business Journal.
It will include two large-capacity restaurants, a themed bar serving upscale snacks at the base of the park's Sky Tower and five retail locations.
While Atchinson refused to put a cost to the project, he described it as 'the largest expansion in our 30-year history'.
Completing the offer will be live entertainers who will mingle with visitors.
According to the journal, other concepts being finalised include a 30-minute musical revue in the SeaFire Inn called Rico and Roza's Family Feast and Seaport Symphony, a group of musicians wearing chef's attire who will bang out their rhythms on pots and pans.
