Seaford Head Community College announces partnership with Wave Leisure
Seaford Head Community College and Wave Leisure Trust have announced that the sports facilities at the Steyne Road site will be managed by the local leisure trust outside of school hours from 1 September 2011.
The facility will be structured towards encouraging local clubs and organisations to bring their activities to the site, providing a regular programme of activities that the local community can access.
The facilities will offer access to the sports hall, dance studio and climbing wall evenings and weekends with additional weekday usage available during the school holidays.
Peter Crowley, Managing Director of Wave Leisure said: "Over the last few months we have been working hard with our partners on being able to commence the operation of the facilities. It allows us the opportunity to be able to increase the provision of accessible activities for the whole community."
Lynton Golds, Head Teacher of Seaford Head Community College, added: "Seaford Head Community College is delighted to be working in partnership with Wave Leisure to enable local people to share in the use of our superb sports facilities."
