Second Bulgari resort spa opens
Bulgari Hotels & Resorts has launched its second Bulgari-branded resort and spa in Bali, on the Jimbaran Peninsula.
Designed by architects Antonio Citterio & Partners, the resort is situated close to the Temple of Uluwatu and consists of 59 individual villas complete with private plunge pools.
The spa is located on the oceanfront, and encompasses traditional Balinese elements.
The main spa pavilion has been created from an antique, hand-carved joglo house from Java, was dismantled and then authentically recreated at the Bulgari resort.
The spa menu includes a wide selection of therapies while other facilities on offer include a swimming pool, an outdoor relaxation area, a yoga pavilion, rainshowers and two private suites complete with an outdoor garden each.
The resort is under the direction of general manager Robert Lagerwey. Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is a joint venture between hotel group Marriott International and Bulgari.
