Second Wetherspoons opens at Birmingham airport
Pub operator Wetherspoons has opened its second site at the Birmingham International Airport.
The new £900,000 property is located in terminal two, is non-smoking and offers patrons views of the runway.
The opening is part of Wetherspoons’ strategy to open sites at transport terminals which benefit from the change in the licensing law.
The new pub will open in time for the first flight leaving from the airport – at 5.30am – and closes after the last flight has departed at 10pm.
