Second, £350,000 Prohibition bar to launch in Liverpool
Bar and restaurant group Living Ventures will be launching a second, £350,000 Prohibition bar site in Liverpool, which will be open to the public from 10 November.
A 7,000sq ft combination of a restaurant, club and bar concept situated in Liverpool’s Lyceum buildings at the foot of Bold Street, Prohibition’s speciality drinks will be cocktails and shooters.
A separate restaurant will be incorporated within the Lyceum’s domed library room and will serve new American cuisine, while the basement of the site will feature The Cotton Club, a secluded, late-night club.
The Liverpool site joins the first Prohibition venue in Leeds on Greek Street. The next Living Ventures project will be an extension of the successful Living Room chain with the opening of a Chester Living Room on Werburgh Street at the end of November. Details: www.prohibition.uk.com
