Sense at Jumby Bay to open by November 2009
A day spa is to open in November as part of Rosewood’s Jumby Bay property near Antigua.
Located on a private island off the coast of Antigua, the new Sense spa will be the sixth to join the Rosewood Collection.
The design of the open-air Sense spa at Jumby Bay – by Robert Moreland of MCM Design – incorporates both Mediterranean and Caribbean accents and was inspired by the island’s sugar mill ruin.
Features include vaulted ceilings and travertine tiled floors in the treatment areas, as well as hand-made hammocks. Details: sensespa.com
