Bokwa - a dance fitness class combining footwork based on the alphabet and numbers - is to be offered by David Lloyd Leisure (DLL) across the UK from next month (September).
The programme also uses hand signals and American sign language and aims to provide an "intense cardiovascular workout". It has been developed by creator Paul Mavi.
DLL head of sports, health and fitness Rob Beale said: "We are always looking to develop our timetables and provide new innovative classes and activities for our members.
"Bokwa is a fun, energetic class and we can certainly see how it will help our members achieve their goals, and have fun doing it."
