Last month's CIWM exhibition saw the launch by Barnsley-based Wybone of a new addition to its wide range of street furniture.

Referred to as a litter bin with 'latitude', the design of the new Compass merges tradition with contemporary but it's still tough, hard wearing and user friendly.

Made of polythene, it has a 112ltr capacity, weighs 27kgs and is 1088mm high, 600mm wide and 600mm deep.

Options available include a concrete base and a top which includes either an ash tray or a stubber plate. It also comes with a choice of colours - black, dark green, dark red and dark blue.

The Compass can be personalised with a name or logo if required.
