Shangri-La to open new spa hotel in Istanbul
Hotel operator Shangri-La is set to open a hotel and spa in Istanbul, Turkey in early 2013.
Located in a 13 storey building in the Besiktas district, Shangri-La Bosphorus will feature 186 guestrooms and 17 suites.
The hotel will house Shangri-La's signature spa concept CHI with treatments inspired by Chinese healing therapies.
The spa will have seven treatment rooms as well as two hamams, an indoor swimming pool, healthclub and beauty salon.
Asian and Western cuisine will be on offer in the hotels three dining rooms as well as Cantonese inspired menus.
Other facilities will include more than 4,500sq m (48,438sq ft) of meeting facilities including a two ballrooms, six function rooms, a boardroom and business centre.
