Shaq O’Neal joins 24 Hour Fitness
Basketball star Shaquille O’Neal is the latest sporting hero to enter into a partnership with 24 Hour Fitness to open branded health clubs.
Construction of the first 24 Hour Fitness Shaq Sport Club is due to get underway in Miami before the end of the year – marking the chain’s first move into the Miami market.
The partnership also enlists O'Neal as a new face for 24 Hour Fitness print and TV advertising.
“I spent the off season last year with a certified personal trainer from 24 Hour Fitness and was thrilled with the results,” said O’Neal.
“I am committed to fitness and committed to Miami, so just wait until you see my Shaq-sized clubs.”
The health and fitness club operator recently opened its second Andre Agassi-branded health club, in Los Angeles, and also runs a string of 24 Hour Fitness Magic Johnson Sport Clubs.
