Shokk and fitness fx team up for kids fitness
As the focus on children’s fitness increases, group exercise training company fitness fx, has teamed up with equipment manufacturer, Shokk, to develop a group exercise programme for young people.
Targeting 11- to 18-yearolds, Shokk Fx is a range of exercise classes which includes combat training, group cycling, circuits and step aerobics.
Instructors will be taught how to deal specifically with young adults and how to retain their interest, said director of fitness fx, Elaine Coulthard.
Coulthard also said that she foresees the programmes being used both by clubs and in schools.
The programmes are endorsed by REPs.
