Simex-Iwerks go to the Extreme
SimEx-Iwerks have announced it has acquired the 8/70 distribution rights to the large format film, Extreme, and will distribute it worldwide to all 8/70 theatres.
Launched in the 15/70 format, the film has grossed over $25m since its 1999 release and has received critical acclaim.
Extreme combines daring sport action with narration from the athletes and a contemporary soundtrack.
It fosters understanding of those who have a passion for extreme sports, and provides a glimpse into the relationship between nature and humanity.
Deborah Hartnett, senior manager of film distribution, sees it as an ideal choice for Simex-Iwerks’ Extreme Screen™.
