Simworx enters Sunday Times Top 100 Exporters list

UK-based attractions specialist Simworx has been named among the top 100 small and medium-sized companies with the fastest growing international sales.

Ranking 49th on the Sunday Times Heathrow SME EXPORT Track 100 listing, Simworx, which specialises in the design and manufacture of media-based dynamic simulation attractions, was included in the 2016 list, compiled by Fast Track and published by the Sunday Times annually.

For companies to qualify for the list, they must have total sales of between £5m (US$7m, €6.3m) and £25m (US$35.4m, €31.4m) in the last year, with international sales numbering at least 20 per cent of total sales. Listed companies must also record an average two-year international sales growth of between 30 per cent and 360 per cent per annum with staff numbers between 10 and 400.

Simworx, which recently teamed up with Cartoon Network to deliver world-first Adventure Time attractions, has in recent times become a world leader in the design and development of media based attractions for the entertainment, education and corporate markets worldwide.

“We are naturally delighted and extremely proud to be included in this year’s Sunday Times Heathrow SME Export Track 100 listing and to be within the top 50 is a real bonus,” said Simworx managing director Terry Monkton.

“We are continually developing and growing our product range and are really excited about some of the new developments we are working on at the moment. Additionally, with last year’s acquisition of RoboCoaster, we added significantly to what we are able to offer clients in the different sectors we serve.”
