Harvest Kaplankaya helps attendees harvest knowledge on how to better nurture ourselves and eachother
– Kent Richards

Wellness festival Harvest Kaplankaya will return to Six Senses Kaplankaya, Turkey, from 11– 15 May 2022.

Harvest is a bi-annual meeting of ideas, discovery, music and connection. The meeting sees attendants discuss and experiment with new ways of thinking and living in relation to oneself, one another and the planet.

Filled with talks, hands-on workshops, nourishing gastronomic experiences and performances, this year’s focus is on bringing people together to rediscover human connection and wellbeing, contemplate important global issues and celebrate human potential.

The speaker line-up includes:

Anita Frauwallner – multispecies probiotic expert and founder of Institut AllergoSan.

Dr Gabor Maté – Hungarian-Canadian physician, expert in human trauma.Lily Cole – model, actor, filmmaker and author.

Dr Mark Hyman – physician and leader in the field of functional Medicine.Wade Davis – anthropologist, National Geographic explorer-in-residence, writer, photographer and filmmaker.

Additional speakers and practitioners attending include Jamie Wheal, Indra Adan, Idriss Aberkane, Camilla Fayed, Lisa de Narvaez, Amber Joy and many more.

Kent Richards, Six Senses' corporate operations director of spa, commented: “Harvest Kaplankaya is an event filled with fascinating talks and workshops to help harvest knowledge on how to better nurture ourselves, each other, and the planet with the ambition to create long-lasting change.”

“Our last Harvest in October was a sell-out success, despite travel restrictions lifting only one week before the event,” commented Maira Inae, CEO of Harvest.

“What we saw last year, after a two-year period of little travel, was the refreshed desire of our guests to interact with our speakers and practitioners. This is what people valued, along with the content and nourishment of the location because it allows for greater sharing and learning, which is the main reason people come.

This year’s instalment will mark the event’s fifth anniversary and Inae revealed plans are already underway for the sixth instalment in October.

At each Harvest event, the events team arranges private retreats with its speakers and practitioners for the attendees, taking place both before and after the main four days.
