Six Senses Maldives to host eco symposium
The second annual Six Senses Eco Symposium is to be held at its Soneva Fushi resort and spa in the Maldives from 7-10 October 2010.
Primarily intended to bring together travel and tourism industry leaders to help inspire them to take on responsible business practices and adapt to climate change, the guest speaker panel will include environmentalists and international policy makers.
The President of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed, will deliver a keynote speech, outlining the role of tourism in his country's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2020. Details: www.sixsenses.com/Environment
