Six Senses launches Barcelona site
Six Senses Spas has opened a new urban spa and gym experience at Hotel Arts Barcelona.
The offering promotes a distinct approach to wellbeing by combining holistic fitness training programmes with personalised spa treatments in the hotel’s Six Senses spa.
Fitness sessions aim to achieve lifestyle changes, with a broad offering including personal training and wellness activities such as t’ai chi, pilates and yoga. Each holistic fitness session – 30 or 80 minutes – is individually tailored towards specific personal goals and mental wellbeing.
The gym is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including pilates and kinesis equipment, with five treatment rooms, steam and sauna. It is the first gymnasium that the multi-award winning spa brand has opened.
Sheron Boddy, regional spa director Europe, says: “This is an exciting development for Six Senses Spas as we offer a lifestyle experience with an integrated approach to exercise, ensuring all aspects of our guests’ and members’ wellness needs are met.”
