SkySpa concept launches in Quebec
A new urban spa complex has launched in the Monteregie region in Quebec, Canada.
Called SkySpa, the 16,000sq ft (1,486sq m) facility is situated near downtown Montreal, above Gold’s Gym on the fourth floor of Place Extasia in Quartier DIX30.
SkySpa has both indoor and outdoor areas, and includes large Finnish, Turkish and Nordic saunas and baths, located in an easily accessible urban setting, as well as treatment rooms.
Outside, SkySpa will feature two whirlpool baths, Nordic waterfalls and a terrace area with a heated floor, which will remain open throughout the year.
Indoors, the spa has a central atrium area, a relaxation room, 20 massage therapy rooms, a ‘smoke’ sauna, a Turkish hammam and a eucalyptus steam bath.
President of SkySpa, Patrick Rake, said: “We want to make this spa accessible to the public and we want to deliver an unforgettable experience. For relaxation, SkySpa is well on its way to becoming a benchmark within the Canadian spa industry.”
