Smugglers Cove opens in St Lucia
A village style resort and spa has reopened in St Lucia after a refurbishment.
The four-star Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa, formerly owned by Almond Resorts, is set on a 45-acre estate, boasts a hotel, four gourmet restaurants, three wedding venues, seven freshwater swimming pools, a fitness suite and tropical gardens.
Spa therapies and treatments include massages, facials, body wraps and scrubs, manicures and pedicures.
Peter Grace, vice president and marketing UK & Europe, said: "The opening of Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa brings with it a refreshingly new holiday offering to St Lucia. With over 45 acres of space at the resort, we will appeal to both couples and families alike, with dedicated areas for adults and children ensuring that we cater to everybody's needs and expectations.
"The hotel is aimed at guests with a spirit of adventure and thus we have developed an 'active' all inclusive package that encourages our customers to use the extensive activity facilities in resort whilst at the same time to explore the nature and culture of the island."
