Snow park planned for Phoenix
A 38-acre winter theme park is being planned for Phoenix, Arizona, US.
The project is the brainchild of Catalyst Land Holdings, which is the vehicle of businessmen Craig Campbell and Chadwic Gifford.
While the plans are only conceptual at present, the park would occupy a site next to and old landfill.
A Catalyst spokesperson told the Associated Press: "Our plan is to provide an experience that allows children to build snowmen, sled down a hill or have a good old-fashioned snowball fight, even when it is over 100 degrees outside."
Phoenix City Council is expected to give its decision on the proposal at the end of next month.
