Sofia building to be transformed into spa centre
The Central Bathhouse building in downtown Sofia in Bulgaria could reportedly gain a new spa centre.
The protected historical building is one of the main symbols of the old town in Sofia and a number of proposals have been put forward to extend its offering.
The existing bathhouse, and its surrounding mineral water fountains, are already popular with local citizens. Assurances have been made by the council that, if a new spa centre is built, that access to these will be unaffected.
